(Compensation will be determined)
Holiday Survivor's Guide Series
CTP wants to hear from people all over who get through the holidays
(see holiday list below) without loved ones in their lives whether
due to death, estrangement, physical distance, or simply no immediate
family. How do you get through the particular holiday? We need tips,
inspirations, and if your situation just stinks, we want to hear that
too! Food for Thought: If you could create a greeting card just for
the fun of it, on the particular holiday that you wrestle with, (for
yourself, perhaps from an "imaginary" mom, lover, etc., or for someone
else--the mother, father, sibling, etc., who is not available to celebrate
the holiday with you), what would it say? The series' purpose is to
provide encouragement and let others know that “they are not
alone.”

Birthday Survivor's Guide: The
Big "O" Survivor (Birthday Milestones)
CTP wants to hear about big "O" birthday milestones -- good,
bad and okay. How did you make the transition? Even if you're "29 and holding" year
after year, this is your opportunity to spill the beans. In addition,
what advice would you give others who are facing a big one? Food for
Thought: If you could create a greeting card just for the fun of it,
on the particular birthday that you wrestle with(for yourself or to give others in your situation), what would it be?
Also, if you have any special ways of celebrating those big "Os,"
or party ideas (decorating, special menus, entertainment, etc.), please
share those, too!
Are You Sure We're Related? Making
Dysfunction, Function Series
This series is aimed at people who have
experienced a family history of unhealthy, erratic and downright bad
behavior, but who don't want to quit being a part of his or her inherited
beehive. Once there was an elderly man wheeled into the local hospital's
emergency room after suffering a fall. His wife, children, and extended
family were so busy yelling at each other about whose fault the fall
was that the hospital personnel couldn't get the man's name straight.
Now, what's your story? Include some solid advice, inspiration or
downright opinions for others in the same situation.

Growing up: Ex-Party Animal's
Guide (Series)
This series is geared at men and women (recovering alcoholics, drug
addicts, children of alcoholics and survivors of battered relationships)
who have a less than "pretty" past, who don't want to deny it and
do not want to give it the power to influence their "healthy" lifestyles
today. Let us know how you do it! We don't need to use your real name in the book,
but strength and hope for others are encouraged!
